Location
Our Dolomites Retreat is be held at the award-winning Hotel Winkler, a five-star wellness and sport hotel nestled in the heart of the Italian Dolomites in South Tyrol.
Surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, alpine forests, and fresh mountain air, Hotel Winkler offers the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and reset.
The retreat is easily accessible from several nearby airports.

Guests can reach the hotel by hire car, taxi, or shared transfer. We will provide guidance and help coordinate transfers closer to the retreat date so guests can travel together where possible.
The journey into the Dolomites is part of the experience, with spectacular mountain scenery as you travel into South Tyrol.

Over five nights, our hosts will guide you through a thoughtfully curated programme designed to help you slow down, move well and reset both body and mind. Each day will blend gentle movement, time in nature, restorative experiences and meaningful conversation, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Italian Dolomites.
You’ll enjoy daily yoga sessions, guided mountain hikes, nourishing cuisine, sauna and cold-exposure experiences, and insightful wellbeing sessions — all designed to support deep relaxation, recovery and clarity. There will also be plenty of space to simply breathe in the fresh mountain air, unwind in the hotel spa, and enjoy the stunning surroundings.
By the end of the retreat, you’ll return home feeling grounded, re-energised and inspired, with practical tools and renewed perspective to support both your wellbeing and everyday life.
Meet Your Hosts
Briony Fisher – Yoga & Hiking
Briony Fisher is the founder of Paradox Performance and your guide to slowing down, reconnecting and moving well in the mountains. With a background in yoga and coaching she specialises in helping people restore balance, build strength and reconnect.
Throughout the retreat, Briony will lead daily yoga sessions designed to release tension, restore energy and help you develop a sense of mental clarity and direction.
She will also host our hikes (alongside experienced local guides) through the breathtaking Dolomites, enabling you to step away from the noise of everyday life and rediscover the authentic experience of wellbeing - feeling alive, feeling strong, feeling calm and feeling clear.
Her sessions are accessible, grounding and designed for real life.
Dr Steve Lewis – Sauna & Wellbeing
Dr Steve Lewis brings a unique blend of medical insight and practical wellbeing expertise to the retreat. With a passion for longevity, recovery and human performance, Steve helps people better understand how to care for their bodies in today’s fast-paced, high-pressure world.
During the retreat, Steve will host our sauna and cold-exposure experiences, guiding you through the powerful physical and mental benefits of hot / cold therapy. He will also deliver an engaging wellbeing talk and Q&A exploring how simple practices can dramatically improve recovery, resilience and long-term health.
Steve’s sessions combine science, storytelling and practical takeaways - giving you tools you can bring back into everyday life.
Together, Briony and Steve create a retreat experience that blends movement, recovery and meaningful connection — set against the extraordinary backdrop of the Dolomites.
Accommodation
Cozy Suite
The Cozy Suite offers generous space and elevated comfort, designed for deep rest and relaxation. Featuring warm alpine interiors, natural wood finishes, and a separate living area, this suite is perfect if you value extra room to unwind between retreat sessions.
Large windows and a private balcony invite the mountain landscape inside, creating a calm and grounding atmosphere throughout the suite. Ideal for guests who want a little more luxury and space, while still feeling fully immersed in the retreat experience.
The Cozy Suite sleeps 1–2 people, based on single occupancy or a shared double bed, and includes a spacious bathroom and comfortable lounge area for quiet moments of reflection.

The Alpine Room
The Alpine rooms capture the essence of modern mountain living, blending clean contemporary design with traditional alpine warmth. Thoughtfully designed with natural materials and soft textures, these rooms feel cosy yet refined, offering a peaceful retreat after active days in the mountains.
Perfectly positioned within the hotel for easy access to wellness facilities, yoga spaces, and communal areas, The Alpine rooms strike a beautiful balance between connection and comfort.
The Alpine sleeps 1–2 people, based on single occupancy or a shared double bed, and features a private bathroom and mountain or forest views.
Food & Drinks
At our retreat venue, Hotel Winkler, dining is an experience rooted in alpine tradition and modern wellness cuisine. Menus are thoughtfully crafted using fresh, locally sourced ingredients from the South Tyrol region, combining Italian finesse with Alpine influences to create nourishing, flavour-rich dishes that support both wellbeing and performance.
The retreat price includes all meals on site, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy the culinary journey throughout your stay. Breakfast and dinner will be enjoyed together as a group, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere to start and end each day of the retreat. Lunch is served as a buffet at the hotel and can be taken at your leisure, offering flexibility around the day’s activities.
Guests can expect a generous breakfast each morning, a fresh and varied buffet lunch, and an elegant three-course dinner each evening. The menu is not exclusively vegetarian or vegan, however dietary requirements and preferences can be accommodated by the hotel’s highly skilled culinary team with advance notice.
Hotel Winkler proudly supports local farmers and producers, believing that menus inspired by seasonal, regional ingredients enhance both quality and flavour while contributing to the sustainable growth of the surrounding alpine community.
Alcohol
Whilst there is a bar on site and the option to drink alcohol on this retreat, we do ask people to drink responsibly.
If you are looking for a trip with heaving drinking and late nights then we advise this is not the trip for you.
We want to send you home feeling rested and refreshed not hungover and haggard.

Prices
Booking requires a non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance payable in agreed instalments or in full, no later than 1 month before the retreat start date.
Room availability varies. Solo travellers requesting shared rooms will be prioritised for twin bed accommodation.
